Description of BizDB Quotation

BizDB Quotation is an add on product of our Web based BizDB database software. You must have either "BizDB Starter" or "BizDB Standard" or "BizDB Advance" installed on your Web site first before you can install and use this software. BizDB Quotation offers the following features: 1. Support all search and report functions currently provided by the BizDB software. 2. Allow your visitor to perform multiple search requests to your BizDB database and then select the items he wants to see in the quotation report. The selection list is temporarily stored in a shopping cart so that it can be reviewed and updated any time. When the selection list is ready, the visitor can request the system to generate a detailed quotation report to a specified e-mail address. The style and the content of the "Quotation by E-mail" message are controlled by a template which can be easily constructed by you. 3. All database fields, screen looks and report layouts are controlled by Html templates. You can re-design your templates anytime you like without affecting the operations of the production database. 4. As an optional feature, the software can log the visitor's e-mail address and the information of all product listings requested by and emailed to the visitors onto a "Quotation Log" database which can later be viewed by the Webmaster. The "Quotation Log" database uses the standard BizDB format. 5. This software when working with our BizDB Advance software will be a very useful productivity tool for small business managers who have a need to send electronically selected product information and prices to their customers. If installed on a public domain database, it will be a powerful quote generator.
