Description of LunarPhase Pro

LunarPhase is a utility for Win 98/NT/ME/2000/XP which provides real-time moon and sun infortmation, graphically dispaying the current lunar phase. It also calculates the rising, transit and setting times for both the Moon and Sun, start and end times for Civil, Nautical and Astronomical twilight, the moon's age, percentage illuminated, distance, position, apogee and perigee. It will calculate the circumstances of lunar eclipses between two specified dates, and the times and dates of the major lunar phases for the selected month and year. Lunar libration effects are calculated and graphically displayed and a range of diagrams and printouts can be produced. A database of just under 2,000 lunar features is included, with local sunrise and sunset times at those features being calculated. The application also contains a Lunar Explorer which allows you to identify features on the moon's near-side, far-side and North & South polar regions. A list of features currently along the lunar terminator is also included, again calculated in real-time. LunarPhase Pro is only available on CDROM.
