Description of Gradebook3.00
(Latest Version 3.0.0.0):
GRADEBOOK is designed to record and maintain class grades. This program has evolved from my needs as a college professor to have a quick and reliable way of keeping student grades, calculating class scores, and providing grade reports. As such, this program has been modified and enhanced many times in order to achieve my grading needs. The structure of this version (based mainly on Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0) is designed to allow the user to quickly setup a generalized gradebook, easily enter scores, and quickly calculate student averages and class grades. Many options and tools are incorporated in this program; users may easily add/delete/edit Students, Scores, Grades, Categories, and Class Information. Letter Grades can be automatically assigned or manually defined. Student scores and Class Averages are automatically calculated after editing and Category Weights can be edited and applied. Student Scores can be ordered numerically and Student Names can be alphabetized or rearranged according to the user's needs. Full Printing Options are allow users to print partial or complete Grade Reports and Worksheets. This version uses Screen Editing for the entry of student scores; WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). This program is ShareWare, and will operate under Windows 95, 98, or NT4.0 . You may download and install this fully functional program and use it as Unregistered for 21 times. Until you purchase this program, you will nagged for your User Name and User Key each time you restart this program, and the number of times used will be changed. Registered users will no longer be nagged and be given unlimited use of this program, plus will be eligible to receive updates and help. You will be sent a valid Registration Key based on the exact spelling of your User Name.
